LMS Audio Tools!
Let the machines talk to other machines!
Last updated: 07/03/2005

Starting with LMS version 2.10, LMS now includes new audio message delivery features!

The power of this feature comes from the the following benefits it produces for the diligent LMS user:

  • It eliminates the need to ever speak a word unless you are talking to a live person -- thus eliminating the energy drain caused by speaking your voice mail script into the phone dozens of times per day! Talking takes energy. We believe you should save your precious life energy for the critical task of talking to live people -- not machines. Let the machines talk to other machines.

  • You may create as many audio recordings as you wish and register them with LMS for instant delivery to your prospect's voice mail or even to a live person on the phone if you so chose.

  • You can take as much time as you need to get each recording perfect.

  • Each time you leave a message on a prospect's voice mail, it is identical to the ones you left early in the day -- you will ALWAYS sound fresh and energetic!

These features are available via the only paid upgrade we have created to date. The price for the upgrade is $135.  To order the upgrade, please login to the member side of this site.

Several LMS power users have tested this feature and graciously performed beta testing on various related phone equipment. They have proven the power and productivity abilities of this new feature.

Minimum Setup Options:

Here is a list of the minimum equipment required for this feature to work in your office.

  • If you don't already have one, you will need to purchase a decent quality headset microphone for your PC. They are VERY inexpensive.  Click here to see a sample. You will use the microphone to CREATE your recordings.

  • Once you have the Audio Tools activated by LMS Support AND you have created your recordings, you need a way to play them back from your PC into your telephone. For this we recommend a device that connects your PC sound card output port to your telephone. You may order the TSA-3PB device. It connects your PC sound card to the handset port of your standard wired telephone. The price is $49.20 plus shipping. Sorry folks, this device only works with a wired telephone, although you CAN connect a wireless headset to a wired telephone (see below). Click here to view details about the device. Click here to order the TSA-3PB device from Omnicron Electrionics.

  • The TSA-3PB device will work with MOST wired phones that have a standard RJ-10 handset port that is wired in the most common way. We have tested the device on a particular phone that, in our opinion is the minimum phone required for this feature to work: The Plantronics T-20 is a two-line phone composed of a dial pad and a very good headset. We have used this phone with LMS and our marketing activities for over four years. It is excellent. Click here to order the Plantronics T-20 (Approximately $100). In our experience, this phone works perfectly with the TSA-3PB device.  Please call LMS support if you have any questions about how to use this device with your existing phone equipment.

Premium Setup Options:

There is also a premium equipment setup you can use if you wish to have the maximum in convenience and flexibility with this feature. The following is a list of equipment recommendations that comes from a high productivity marketer using LMS and this audio feature. Anyone who wishes to speak with this fellow, should call LMS Support first:

c) Handset plugs into it
d) Headset plugs into it
e) Must lift handset and place on desk each time you make a call as soon as the phone rings (unless you go with the handset lifter below).

Most expensive (and the best) way to go and best option:

AT&T phone: Under $60.00 – Model #: 972 – 2 line phone and wireless headset, available from: www.hellodirect.com

  1. Wireless headset: #9352 – GN Netcom ($390.00 approximately)
  2. Remote handset lifter: #7606 – came with the purchase
  3. Danaswitch (needed for At&T phones for clarity): #6342 – ($30.00 approximately)

Press button on headset when the phone rings – the handset lifter lifts the handset. When finished – press same button on the headset and the handset drops back into the cradle.  Clarity is as good as a hard line.

THE ABOVE TWO SYSTEMS ABSOLUTELY WORK!   WE USE THEM BOTH EVERY DAY – MY ASSOCIATE USES THE MORE EXPENSIVE SET UP AND I USE THE CHEAPER SET UP SINCE I DON’T LEAVE THAT MANY AUTOMATED MESSAGES.
